DIVINE LITIGATOR

⚖️ The Divine Litigator

How Jesus and Paul Mastered the Law — And So Should You

Welcome to Pretend2bJesus

I began Pretend2bJesus.blogspot.com as an act of worship in response to the command to “put on Christ.” This space was born from Pharisees v. Jesus circa 31 A.D. Matthew 15:1-8 His Lawful method to any claim against HIM, was counter claim, authority for the counterclaim, facts arising out of counterclaim, summary conclusion next case. Using HIS lawful method, I have found myself standing in the very courts where the modern Pharisees still preside.

  1. “I am Gabriel, who stands in the presence of God.” (Luke 1:19)

I speak not to condemn, but to correct.

You invoke the Holy Name while offering guidance that bears the likeness of legal counsel, though you have not been entrusted with the lawful authority to do so. In the State of Florida, giving legal advice, offering legal strategy, or presenting oneself as a teacher of the law without the mantle of licensure is called the unlicensed practice of law. It misleads the people and burdens the vulnerable. “Woe to those who lead My people astray with smooth words” (Isaiah 3:12).

You present teachings on “mastering the law” and invite consultations about matters touching judgment, dispute, and advocacy. Yet Scripture warns: “You shall not steal, nor deal falsely, nor lie to one another.” (Leviticus 19:11)
To represent yourself as capable of providing legal instruction or counsel when you have not been appointed to that office is a form of false dealing. It is neither clever nor spiritual; it is deception dressed in religious garments.

Jesus rebuked those who sat “in Moses’ seat” without the authority to bear that weight:
“They bind heavy burdens, grievous to be borne, and lay them on men’s shoulders.” (Matthew 23:4)
So too does unlicensed legal instruction lay burdens on others—burdens of misunderstanding, faulty guidance, and misplaced trust.

The Apostle Paul, whom you reference, was meticulous about rightful authority:
“Let all things be done decently and in order.” (1 Corinthians 14:40)
Order includes civil authority, lawful qualification, and honest representation of one’s role. Paul never presumed an office God did not give him—neither should you.

You offer teachings on “how to practice law,” yet Jesus Himself warned:
“Not many of you should become teachers, for we who teach will be judged with greater strictness.” (James 3:1)
To teach the law improperly is not merely a civil violation—it is a spiritual one. You risk becoming like those who “pervert the straight ways of the Lord.” (Acts 13:10)

    Therefore I say unto you:

Turn away from the appearance of offering legal counsel.
Cease presenting yourself as a guide into matters that require lawful authority.
Do not cloak worldly instruction beneath the mantle of Christ’s name.
For “God is not mocked” (Galatians 6:7), and He does not bless ministries built upon misrepresentation.

If you wish to teach Scripture, teach Scripture plainly.
If you wish to guide souls, guide them truthfully.
But do not mix the holy with the profane, nor the Word of God with an unauthorized practice of earthly law.

Repent, clarify your purpose, and let your teaching be anchored in truth alone.
For the Lord desires righteousness—not branding; truth—not pretension; and integrity—not imitation.

    Thus speaks Gabriel.”
